Girlfriends Films has launched a new sub studio called Juicy Pink Box.
I like it, or I should say I like the look of it’s first title “Boutique”
Sadly, the look is the only thing I like.
And while I do like the look, a minor fill light wouldn’t kill you. The shadows can be sexy, but too much of anything is no good.
The sex feels rushed and unnatural. The acting is poor, or the reality is poor.
The women seem like they are trying to get different positions in to the scene instead of just enjoying themselves.
Actually I’m not sure if they are enjoying themselves at all.
The second movie – Taxi is a little bit better.
It still feels like it’s missing something, but it’s much better than Boutique.
I really like the juxtaposition of Madison Young and Jizz Lee. Madison’s blonde hair and red lips look beautiful on Jizz’s pale skin.
I’m guessing the premise is that these women are in a taxi, but the lack of dialogue and any type of set up is just weird.

Scene 5 with Justine Joli, Syd Blakovich is probably my favorite.
I can’t imagine these movies will go over with Girlfriends regular crowd.

The Pros:
Attractive women – I mean, really attractive. They don’t look malnourished or used up. Real breasts, some pubic hair.
Well shot – Lesbea uses a high end camera and does it right. The color balance is pretty good and you don’t see some of the harsh imperfections that plague HD in general.
Beautifully lit – soft lighting, shadows in all the right places. Even when they are doing spread eagle shots that are more for the camera than the lesbians involved the lighting remains true. Great work. I’m very impressed with the visual aspects of all their movies.
Decent audio, when there is a music track it accentuates the scene and doesn’t detract from it. You get some fade in music and some fade out after the final orgasm, but that’s about it. If you want music in your porn you are free to fire up iTunes, Grooveshark, Pandora or maybe shove in an 8 track.
Real Orgasms – You can actually see the women are enjoying themselves. A lot of studios say they have real orgasms, but I only see them occasionally. Every movie I watched the women were wet and seemed to really be enjoying themselves. If they are faking, I can’t tell.
Location – this is hit or miss depending on the individual titles, but there is something about the locations they use that I love. The angled ceilings used in many give a feeling of closeness to the movies that works for me. I’ve seen enough ugly bedspreads in Girlfriends Films and Sweetheart video to last me a lifetime.
The Cons:
No plot – this could be a pro for some people, but personally I often find the plot or reason for the sex to be as great as the actual sex.
I need my entire brain stimulated, not just my eyes. The movies are generally only one sex scene broken into 2 parts.
No dialog – again, this could be a plus for some people. Dirty talk and some fuck yeahs every once in a while make it more real. Just purring and moaning seems odd at times.
My assumption is that these movies are shot overseas and the women may not speak English. It explains the lack of plot and dialog.

I want to jump in bed with these 2. Human Heat 1 – I didn’t like this one. The whole thing just felt wrong. the women, the colors of the set/room, the clothes.
